• please park behind your designated cabin

• Please check out by 11 AM unless otherwise arranged by purchasing late checkout

• Please leave on AC/heat pump to 71 degrees on AUTO setting and do not unplug fridge. Please turn off all other electronic or electrical items.

• Please Clean all dishes in your cabin - please use sink located outside shower house

• Please leave all garbage inside Cabin - If you have more garbage than what can be contained in the garbage can inside cabin, please go to the Castlegar Dump to get rid of your large bags of garbage. We are not a dump. Were a small family with no hired help. we do not have the resources to handle large amounts of refuse. Please refer to your agreement you will be charged on your credit card accordingly.

• If you have used rental items such as fire pits and paddleboards. Please deflate and wipe off any sand or dirt and leave inside cabin in an organized manner.

• Do not worry about the sheets and etc. We will strip the beds and have all that cleaned and prepped for our next guests!

• REMINDER - PLEASE REMEMBER ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL ITEMS. WE WOULD BE SAD TO SEE YOUR STUFF LEFT BEHIND!

House Rules

1. FIRE PIT

Absolutely no open flame fires during fire ban. Please contact us if you are not sure. This does not apply to propane fire pits. We will charge your CC a minimum $500 for clean up and the Provincial authorities will fine you $1150. This is clearly stated in your agreement.

Again, you may use your own or rented propane fire pit at all times in front of your cabin

2. SMOKING

No smoking or vaping inside of cabins. We will charge you$250 if this has happened.

3. NOISE

Guests and visitors should keep noise at a minimum between 11pm to 7 am as a courtesy to the neighbors.

4. KEYS

 Keys should remain to your possession during the stay. Duplication of keys are prohibited.

5. General

Be Respectful of the property and grounds. Clean up after yourself.

Please account for all items in cabins. missing items will be charged to your CC. Notify us ahead of time for missing or broken items. We can discuss a resolution.

Complimentary items

You are more than welcome to take any remaining coffee and tea or any brochures/pamphlets that we have in the baskets. If there is something you are unsure but would like to take with you please talk to us first.

things to be aware of

there are animals in the area. please do not leave garbage or food outside at night.

the Kootenay area has ticks. stay out of long grass or use repellant. Also be aware of other bugs such as wasps can during some seasons be an issue. We do our best to mitigate this but ultimately we are not liable as per your agreement with us.

the mill across the lake does occasionally produce an odor at times as it is a pulp mill.

There is a Gun range above the property up Rialto FSR. You will hear this occasionally. You are safe. They discharge firearms in complete opposite direction of the property. It is a registered firearm range and is federally regulated.
